Our Clients purchased this wonderful property in Kensington, London that was in need of complete refurbishment. We were approached directly as we had built a garden previously for some of their very close friends. Our team of garden designers and Landscape Architects worked very closely with the Client and we devised a very natural, albeit stylish scheme using untreated materials that represented a woodland effect.
The Concept
The planting consisted of a selection of multi-stemmed trees, including Birch, flowering Prunus and early flowering Amelanchier all underplanted with a selection of hardy flowering herbaceous plants and seasonal bulbs that will provide interest throughout the seasons.
To transform the garden and encourage its use at night time bronze light fittings were installed to illuminate the steps and up light the plants and trees. A computer-controlled irrigation system ensures that the garden is easily maintained and that the plants have the conditions to ensure that they flourish.

Needless to say, the client’s response was one of delight in that we had interpreted exactly what they had envisaged and provided them with a fabulous garden.
