We were approached by a renowned property development company to submit garden design proposals for the front and rear gardens of one of their latest developments. The brief was to create a stunning garden that would complement the property and provide it with instant kerbside appeal. The developers wanted to evoke a feeling of space and to ensure that the whole garden was usable by the potential owners throughout the year.

Our team of Landscape Architects and garden designers prepared a design package that included a 3D model and mood boards to illustrate our design concepts that reflected the traditional architecture, whilst still maintaining a contemporary feel.

Our client was delighted with the proposal and our project managers and skilled craftsmen began work just a few weeks later to create an elegant, formal garden that has been executed to the highest possible standards.

The garden was completely enclosed with elegant bespoke hardwood trellis work, evergreen topiaries & espaliered trees have been planted to provide additional privacy. The lush lawn is edged in a complementary limestone banding that contrasts with neatly clipped box hedges framing flowering borders and seasonal bedding and herbaceous planting behind. The planting provides year-round interest with species chosen for their contrasting foliage, texture and flower.

A generous terrace has been located close to the house that can be used as an outdoor dining area close to the kitchen. Raised beds were also set at seating height to enable more informal use of the lower patio.

At the end of the garden, a vine-covered pergola provides a focal point and sun shelter over a formal square stone patio where the new owners of the house could sit comfortably.

A controllable lighting system was installed to enhance the overall effect and create varying lighting moods throughout the garden.
